Twyford Ultrasound was established in 2005 to provide a cost
effective solution to having to wait for a NHS ultrasound.
Our service is Consultant led. All of our diagnostic practitioners are
established NHS Consultants or Technicians and you can be
assured that you will be seen by an appropriate specialist with
expertise in your type of scan. The ultrasound is also
used by a physiotherapist with an interest in core stability and
stress incontinence, to give visual feedback, to help re-educate
the patient to improve muscle contractions of the abdomen and
pelvic floor.
Our ultrasound scans are undertaken in a friendly GP practice near
Winchester, where there is easy parking.
Our service is available to private patients, both insured and
self funding. If you should wish to self refer, you should
liaise with your GP, physiotherapist or midwife.
This service is recognised by all of the large providers of
private health care including BUPA and PPP. |
